Kini Bella----mmmmm not so much in TX today

It's raining it's pouring....I used to love that little song when I was a kid. This whole week has been rain or the threat of rain. I don't think Kini Bella would be very happy about this weather! I made this card as part of the Amy Rsavy sketch challenge last week. Her blog is fabulous...check it out if you get a chance http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com Also I noticed she talks about sneak peeks for All That Scraps today....

Hope you enjoy the card and the weather where ever you are!

Paper Craft Planet challenge!

Hello everyone! Have you heard about Papercraft Planet(http://www.papercraftplanet.com/)? If you haven't you should go on over and check it out. It is another crafting community that you can join and it is tons of fun! Can you ever have too many crafting friends or places to share your creativity? Well...Hampton Arts is hosting the Studio G Paper Piecing challenge #7 on there and you have two weeks to enter. You can find it under groups-then Studio G. I have a bunch of the new Studio G sets that are available on www.pezadoodle.com for purchase. They have so many good ones that I decided to get a bunch of them! Have Fun Everyday!

Hello...well it is back to work for me today. I think my day off wore me out. I tried to get everything I wanted/had to do all in one day and find time to relax. How exhausting...I did sneak some time in for creating though :0). I knew I wanted to use my Charolette Ketto stamp today and had my bittersweet paper pack from basic grey. The colors in this paper pack are awesome and they don't have to be just for Valentine's day. I used the MOJO Monday sketch and away I went. I hope you like it...Tonight I will be heading over to my friends house for TCP tuesday....Its a new tradition we have started. Tuesday night crafting and the TCP challenge as our inspiration...

Spa Day for me!

Well not really...but I am taking a day off Monday to spend relaxing and to make it a three day weekend! I can't wait! This card was a dual challenge card! With so many challenges out there I like to kill two birds with one stone sometimes by making a card that covers both challenges. In this case I did the Hanna Stamps challenge (flowers and polka dots) my fav! and the Mojo Monday sketch. This sketch is fabulous. My friend Kim made one with this sketch on its side and I love the way that looks too. You definitely want to hop over to http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/ to save a copy of the sketch and then head over to my friend Kim's blog (www.sewstampscrapbook.blogspot.com) she should be posting it soon!

What's your favorite way to spend a "me" day? Mine is probably...drink a cup of coffee or two still in my PJ's and then spend time creating in my craft room while listening to/watching my favorite romantic comedies! Leave me a comment and let me know....I would love to hear from you!

The Cat's Pajama's for today!

Hello! Well this has been a very busy week! I did sneak some time in to work on The Cat's Pajama's challenge for the week. It was brought to us by none other than Carolw Burrage! (http://www.motherslittlehelper.typepad.com/) She always has such fantastic cards on her blog! The sketch this week pretty straight forward but I struggled with too much space, not enough balance, embellies weren't working, blah blah blah. Here is the final product. I actually like it I just needed a little time away from it!

My goal was to make a card that wasn't too girly so I can give it to my dad for his upcoming birthday. Well if it is too girly...he will just have to pretend it isn't!

Hope you have a great day!
